In the year 2080, the question papers for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will continue to be printed in the traditional format. According to the agreement between the Janak Education Material Center and the National Examination Board, the question papers for the SEE of the previous year will be replicated. As per the terms with the centers, each question paper will be printed at the cost of four rupees and fifty-one paisa, encompassing not only the questions but also any required graphs or charts.
Approximately five lakh students are expected to participate in SEE this year, necessitating a minimum of 35 lakh for the examination papers. The Examination Control Office (Class 10) is currently engrossed in the preparation of the question papers. This year, following the new curriculum, the question papers will be formulated in a fresh format, and sample question papers are accessible on the Curriculum Development Center's website.
The printing of the question papers is anticipated to take about a month, with the process scheduled to commence in the first week of the upcoming month of Falgun.
Janak Education operates two security presses, with one currently engaged in printing admission tickets while the other remains idle. The Security Press is set to print one crore and 20 lakh admission tickets in the same print run until the month of Chaitra. Anil Kumar Jha, the Managing Director of Janak Education, has indicated that the vacant press will be utilized for printing SEE question papers.
Security Press has implemented three tiers of security measures for the printing of any materials, including a security cordon with the Nepali Army on the inside, the Armed Police Force on the outside, and the perimeter of Nepal Police encompassing all. Surveillance, including CCTV, is rigorously upheld, and access to the Security Press is restricted to the relevant staff of Janak Education, with photography strictly prohibited.
