Lumbini Banijya Campus has announced their new 'Entrepreneurship Development Support Program' with the program having officially started from May 21, 2023.
The program was initiated with the backing of the University Grants Commission. Prof. Dr. Tara Prasad Upadhyay, the Campus Chief, shared the details. Upadhyay expressed that this program aims to equip students aspiring to be entrepreneurs with practical business expertise through academic and business professionals. Moreover, the program also offers the necessary initial capital for their ventures.
"This kind of program has been launched with a different perspective," he said. "Since entrepreneurship development is indispensable for the development of the country, the campus has given it top priority."
The Entrepreneurship Development Support Program was inaugurated on May 21, 2023. Ujwal Prasad Kasaju, a member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the President of the Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, unveiled the program. Dilliraj Gautam, the coordinator of the Council and Placement Cell at Lumbini Banijya Campus, provided the information. More than a hundred enthusiast individuals participated in the orientation program, aspiring to become entrepreneurs.
