In-Depth Details for Secondary Level III Teacher Vacancy and Examination Process

Teachers Service Commission has officially released a notification for the recruitment of Secondary Level III teachers, sparking widespread interest among educators. The Information Officer of the Commission, Sudarshan Marahatta, addressed numerous queries from eager candidates regarding the eligibility criteria and application process.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree in pedagogy or an equivalent qualification in the relevant subject. A notable point is the mandatory 10 months of education training for candidates specializing in Nepali, social studies, economics, and Sanskrit grammar, akin to a one-year BEd program. In contrast, no specific training is required for candidates in English, mathematics, science, and office management and accounting subjects.

Specifics for Social Subjects

The minimum qualification criteria for social subjects were explicitly outlined in the advertisement. Candidates who have studied economics, history, rural development, geography, civics, political science, philosophy, ethics, psychology, anthropology, environmental science, culture, population, health, and population education are eligible to apply.

Application Process

The application process is streamlined through online submission. Existing applicants can use their prior email address and password, while new candidates are required to complete a registration form, following guidelines outlined in the user manual on the commission's website. Application fees can be paid through eSewa or designated banks, namely Nepal Bank or Rastriya Banijya Bank.

Examination Logistics

Candidates are advised to apply from only one province, as the commission plans to conduct the examination simultaneously. The commission clarified that while the written exam will not be postponed due to certain circumstances, interview postponements may be considered.

Examination Details

The general examination for applicants is scheduled for Chaitra 3, 2080 at 1 pm. Examinations will be held in respective state capitals, with provisions for additional examination centers in districts connected to the provinces if required.

Assistance for Disabled Persons

Disabled persons requiring assistance during the examination must apply to the relevant Education Development and Coordination Unit. The commission stipulates that assistants must have completed class 12 or an equivalent qualification this year and should not have studied the subject of education.
