The Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus, hosted its fifth talk show session titled "The Subtle Art of Pitching" at Advanced College of Engineering and Management, attracting aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators on January 27 at 12:30 pm.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome and introductory remarks, setting the stage for an insightful discussion. Mr. Raj Bikram Maharjan and Ms. Nikita Jalan graced the occasion as esteemed guest speakers, sharing their expertise and experiences with the eager audience.

Raj Bikram Maharjan, the CEO and co-founder of Galli Maps, initiated the discussion, offering a glimpse into his entrepreneurial journey. Maharjan emphasized the significance of understanding one's product thoroughly, drawing attention to the importance of customer satisfaction and market competition. Drawing from his own venture, Galli Maps, Maharjan highlighted the necessity of addressing existing gaps in the market and tailoring pitches to resonate with target audiences and judges.

Following Maharjan's engaging discourse, Nikita Jalan, the CEO and co-founder of Pet Mama Nepal, took center stage, captivating the audience with her insights on effective pitching strategies. Jalan likened pitching to a first date, stressing the critical nature of making a memorable impression within the first few moments. She underscored the importance of visual aids, meticulous preparation, and maintaining audience engagement throughout the presentation.

The event culminated with a token of appreciation presented to the guest speakers, followed by an interactive Q&A session where attendees had the opportunity to seek further clarification and advice. Adding a touch of excitement, a lively quiz session centered around Hult Prize-related trivia ensued, culminating in the announcement of teams advancing to the semi-finals.
