Forbes College recently conducted five days workshop on Ethical Hacking. The workshop was facilitated by Sachin Jung Karki, an expert on Cyber Security on both national and international level. Located at Bharatpur- 2, Chitwan, Forbes College is the only institution outside the Kathmandu valley that offers courses on Cyber Security.
The advancement of technology is developing incredibly fast. However, with the digitization process also comes the challenge of keeping the nation digitally safe. There is when the role of ethical hacker comes into play. An ethical hacker helps to safeguard the society by finding out the problems in various networks and applications used in the process of digitization.
The Principal of the college, Hari Sharan Pathak stated that the college has been regularly conducting many workshops on various topics by inviting experts of respective fields. He further added that the college had conducted a 15 days workshop on Red Hat Software last year.
The Education Directorate, Er. Sulav Adhikari added that students have been successfully provided with various internationally recognized certificates on various contemporary subjects, rather teaching the students the curriculum set by the university.
The Vice Principal of the college, Diwas Mainali notified that the college has opened admission for the limited seats in Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM) and BCS (IT) in Cyber Security & Networking with the affiliation from EHE European University, EurAka, Switzerland.
