On the 112th International Women's Day, the DV Education Network acknowledged women who have made significant contributions in various fields as a part of the program "DV Mahila Shakti Samman."
The DV Education Network recognizes women every year via its "DV Mahila Shakti Samman" program to encourage women to contribute to making a difference in society in various fields.
President of Nepal Teachers' Federation Kamala Tuladhar, journalist Sita Poudel, Dr. Sandhya Chapagain of Cancer Care Nepal, and Principal of Shanti Vidyagriha Secondary School, Shiva Kumari Ghimire, were honored at the program.
COO Hritu Neupane believes that increasing women's access to education is still required. She claims that, while there is a particular provision on women's empowerment and gender discrimination, in theory, however, there is still an issue in practice.
Secretary of Science and Technology at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Pramila Bajracharya, was the chief guest at the function. Similarly, Prof. Dr. Vihari Vinod Pokhrel was the special guest, while the program was chaired by Vishwanath Prasad Shah, Chairman of DV Education Network. Tarun Pratap Shah, Managing Director of DV Education Network, was also present.
The DV Education Network includes Triton International College and Triton International Secondary School, Shepherd College, and Shubhashree College of Management.
