B.Tech Food Entrance Exam-Tribhuvan University
To study B.Tech Food Technology degree at the affiliated and constitutent campus of Tribhuvan University, the applicant should pass the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Tribhuvan University.
The entrance examination will be out of 100 total marks. It will consist of Objective/Multiple Choice questions based on the curriculum of I.Sc. / 11 and 12 or equivalent, covering the following subjects:
- Mathematics - 20 Marks
- Physics - 20 Marks
- Chemistry - 20 Marks
- Language Aptitude - 20 Marks
- Logical Reasoning - 5 Marks
- Food Tech related - 10 Marks
- General Knowledge - 5 Marks
Other Information
- The duration of the entrance examination will be 2 hours.
- Candidates must obtain a minimum of 35% of the total marks to pass the entrance examination.
If candidates score equal marks in the entrance examination, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mathematics subject. If there is still a tie, the marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics, and Language Aptitude subjects will be considered sequentially. In the case of equal marks in all subjects, the lower educational level will be given preference. Marks obtained based on these criteria will not be published.
