XI Science - CBSE - CBSE Board (Class 1-12)

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) functions as an autonomous body of the Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Five subjects are compulsory in this stream. Also, if the students want, they can choose 6 subjects as well. The board offers two groups of which a student has to choose one. In group 1, there are English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and any one from Maths, Home Science or Computer Science. Similarly in group 2, there are English, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Maths. The board follows a continuous assessment system throughout the year via Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA). The assessment is divided into 50% per semester so that 100% is accommodated into two semesters per year. 


A student must have passed/appeared for CBSE/ SEE or equivalent from a recognized institution/ board. The student should have scored 60% and above to be eligible for admission. If the results have not been declared, we provide provisional admission.
