Eligibility
- A lower second (2.2) UK first degree or equivalent
- 2 years relevant work experience in an appropriate business or managerial role
- For non-UK-appropriate undergraduate degree equivalent to UK second-class honors degree/IELTS 6.0 overall band score with 5.5 in each band (with support)
Curricular Structure
Management Learning and Research (MN7183)
This module anticipates the responsible management learning for dynamic and complex environment including professional and personal responsibility for making a justifiable decision. It initiates towards providing a comprehensive introduction to research philosophy, methodology, design and their application in researching business-related issues in diverse domestic and international contexts.
Accounting and Finance for Managers (AC7052)
This module interprets accounting statements and reports and uses the information for decision making in short and long terms. It helps to examine ethics and ethical principles / codes that impinge on the norm in professional life and how ethical codes could assist both professional and corporations to act in an ethical manner. It provides an understanding of economic tools and their applications to inform financial data.
Leadership and Strategic Management (MN7185)
This module aims to stimulate the student's critical awareness and application of key leadership and strategic management theories to their own practice and develop their ability to evaluate current practice in the light of relevant academic theories.
People and Organisations:Principles and Practices in Global Contexts (MN7181)
This module specifies on factors that are relevant to "Management in Global Context" that includes internal and external environments influencing on decision making. This module also helps to understand a fundamental social, psychological and legal relationship — which is a key to appreciating how the work, the workplace, and the role and functions of HR are changing in the 21st century.
Marketing, Marketing Communications and Operations (MN7182)
This module aims to encourage the student to appreciate the tools marketing provides about the business planner and learn how to make use of them in a real business context. It widens the understanding of the key principles of marketing and delivers a deeper understanding on companies' plan, implementation and relevant marketing tools including the elements of marketing mix.
