This four-year curriculum is organized into eight semesters according to the semester system. Its goal is to produce middle-level civil engineers with knowledge and skills in the Civil Engineering specialization areas of Highway Engineering, Soil Engineering, Structure Engineering, and Building Design, in order to meet the country's demand for such workers and contribute to Nepal's national poverty reduction strategy.
Duration
The total duration of this curricular program is four years. Each year consists of two semesters of six months each.
Target group
Individuals who have passed 10+2 or equivalent or diploma in engineering.
Medium of instruction
The medium of instruction will be in English and/or Nepali.
Salient Features
Pattern of attendance
A minimum of 90% attendance in each subject is required to appear in the respective final examination
Eligibility
- 10 +2 or equivalent or diploma in enigneering.
- Should pass an entrance examination.
- Candidate should be physically fit for the program.
- Individuals of lower economic status preferred.
