KFA has introduced the Bachelors in Hospitality Management (BHM) program with 10 pillars, that have been designed to meet the knowledge and competencies required for those who have chosen a career in hospitality industry. The experiential learning, project-based approach, and practical training components will provide students with the necessary competencies to function effectively as leaders in the industry. The students may select either hotel or tourism specialization.

The program not only helps in providing elementary knowledge about the fundamental business principles that are applicable in the hospitality industry but also contributes to the development of critical thinking skills, analyzing issues and decisions that impact the hospitality industry from various political, legal, economic, and socio-cultural perspectives. Furthermore, in order to enable the students to overcome the national and global workforce challenges with professionalism, various sessions are conducted, thus, developing well-round hospitality graduates.

INTEGRATED PRACTICAL APPROACH

The practical and theoretical sessions are conducted parallelly to ensure that the students can understand the practical implications of what they learn in classroom settings. The practical sessions are conducted 12 hours a week. The integrated practical approach is incorporated in the following four core subjects.

DOMESTIC INTERNSHIP

This pillar is focused on the student's pre-exposure to the work environment of hotels in the country to prepare them for international internships as well as placements for their future endeavors.

THEMATIC SESSIONS

A theme is selected and highlighted every semester to equip students with knowledge across academic disciplines and market practices. Various activities such as presentation role play etc are carried out to develop the soft skills of the students.

MONTHLY HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY ANALYSIS(MHIA)

It involves the monthly study of economic systems and service processes of the Hospitality Industry that enables the students to determine how effectively the economy or something within it is operating and the contemporary state of the industry.

COMPREHENSIVE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY RESEARCH

Enhance students' research and analysis skills while adding to their existing body of knowledge regarding tourism and the hospitality industry.

HOTEL OBSERVATION TRIP

Acquaints the student with a practical working environment and opportunities to gain full awareness about the industries practices

ELITE FINE DINING SERVICE

This pillar allows students to observe and experiences high-end dining services so that they can gain the skills essential in providing a complete fine dining service.

FOOD & FUN FIESTA

Under this pillar, the students will be required to organize food festivals and events with different music concepts and cuisines which will help them learn how to organize an event from the scratch 

CAREER CELL

The students managed career cell will help the students connect with the world of corporate hospitality during and after the completion of their BHM course.
