Janakpur Community College, an initiative of the Janakpur Community Development Foundation, has been established in the historic city of Janakpurdham, renowned for its rich educational heritage and legacy of knowledge and wisdom. Founded in 2022, the college aims to carry forward this legacy by providing high-quality academic, professional, and technical degrees and certifications, catering to the diverse needs of its students and the community for lifelong learning.
The college offers a Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT) program, addressing the growing demand for skilled IT professionals in Nepal and beyond. Additionally, in 2024, the college expanded its academic offerings to include a B.Sc. Hons in Agriculture, reflecting its commitment to addressing the region's educational needs.
