The Central Department of Hydrology and Meteorology is one of the Central Departments of Tribhuvan University, located in Kirtipur Kathmandu. It is QAA Accreditated by University Grant Commission (UGC) Nepal on 26 February 2021, and the accreditation will be valid until 25 February 2026.

Study of hydrology, Meteorology and glaciology in T.U. was started in 1973 at B.Sc. Level and was upgraded to M.Sc. level in 1988.department offers Ph.D degree as well.
