National Examination Board (NEB) published the enrollment criteria for Grade 11.  NEB-affiliated secondary schools follow these enrollment criteria. 

New Criteria (Implemented from 2080 BS)

For students who completed Grade 10 in the academic year 2079 and wish to enroll in Grade 11, the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council, in its meeting dated 2079.05.19, decided that students who have completed their Grade 10 studies at the secondary level and wish to continue to Grade 11 must have obtained a minimum average Grade Point (GPA) of 1.6 (one point six) in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at the end of Grade 10. 

 

OLD Criteria 

For those who want to enroll in +2 Science

The students must have achieved a minimum 2.0 GPA in SEE. However, they must also have a minimum   C+ in Science and Math, and D+ in English, Nepali, and Social Studies.

For those who want to enroll in +2 Management

The students must have a minimum 1.6 GPA in SEE. In addition, they must score the minimum grade of D+ in English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Likewise, a student who has scored at least a 1.6 GPA can get admission in any other stream, according to the criteria presented in the table.
