Documents to be submitted along with the application form:
- Copy of the Grade Sheet of the SEE Examination and a recommendation letter from the school stating age or a copy of the Character Certificate - 1 copy.
- Copy of the Admit Card of the SEE Examination - 1 copy.
- Copy of the Birth Certificate issued by the local registrar - 1 copy.
- Recently taken photographs - 2 copies (1 passport size and 1 auto size) - only 1 copy is required for the online form.
- In the case of children of serving military personnel, a recommendation letter from the respective unit's commander stating that the applicant is a legitimate child - 1 copy, or in the case of children of retired military personnel, a copy of the pension certificate - 1 copy.
Note:
(a) All candidates, including those who have passed the SEE from Sainik Mahavidyalaya, must necessarily participate in and be selected through the entrance examination to study in class 11 at the Mahavidyalaya.
(b) According to the policy maintained for the military rank and staff quota, only one child from a couple can receive the concession for one level (from class 1 to class 10, from class 11 to 12, and for the undergraduate level). After one child has studied at one level with the rank-based concession, the second child will not be provided the same concession for the same level. However, they may be allowed to study by paying the full fee, similar to non-military personnel. Other conditions will be as specified by the Sainik Mahavidyalaya.
Admission Procedure
Every year in Grade XI, the Mahavidyalaya accepts new students from all streams. Before being considered for admission, the candidates must pass a written test, an interview, and a medical examination. Every year, the school enrolls 60% of pupils in various categories from the families of army soldiers (both current and retired) and 40% from civilians in Grade XI.
