The Office of the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Education at Nepal Open University (NOU), has published the entrance examination schedule for various academic programs for the academic year 2082.

The entrance examinations will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. This announcement applies to applicants of the Bachelor of Arts (BA), Diploma in Library and Information Management (DLIM), 1-year B.Ed, 1-year B.Ed. in Pedagogical Sciences, and 4-year BES programs.

Eligibility

Four-Year Bachelor of Arts ,Must have obtained a minimum D+ grade in all subjects at the Intermediate or Secondary Level/10+2 or
an equivalent level from a recognized university or the National Examination Board.
One-Year B.Edmust have passed Bachelor degree in Social Science with the major subjects-major subjects such as
Sociology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, and Anthropology to study Social Studies Education 
while one must pass other relevant bachelor degrees from the recognized university
One Year B.Ed in Pedagogical SciencesMust have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any subject from a recognized university.
BESFor the subjects of English Education and Social Studies Education, one must have passed PCL 
or Class 12 in any subject with a minimum letter grade of 'C' or a GPA of 2.00.
For the subjects of Science and Mathematics, one must have passed PCL or Class 12 in the 
relevant subject with a minimum letter grade of 'C' or a GPA of 2.00.
Diploma in Library and
 Information Management (DLIM)
Must have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent in any subject.
