Kathmandu University, School of Science invites application for admission in the following Undergraduate Programs  for the academic year 2024:

Candidates are required to appear in the Kathmandu University, School of Science Admission Test, in either PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), according to their choice of academic program. The Entrance Exam will be conducted in the mode of Paper Based Test (PBT). Admission offer list will be published on merit basis.

  • BE (Environmental Engineering)
  • Must have taken PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in both XI and XII (or equivalent)
  • Minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or Aggregate 50% in percentage scale

  • B.Sc. (Computer Science)
  • B.Sc. (Computational Mathematics)
  • B.Sc. (Applied Physics)
  • Bachelor of Data Science (BDSc)
  • Must have taken PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or PMCs (Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science) in both XI and XII (or equivalent)
  • Minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or Aggregate 50% in percentage scale
 PCM
  • B.Tech. (Biotechnology)
  • B.Sc. (Bioinformatics)
  • B.Sc. (Environmental Science)
  • Must have taken PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in both XI and XII (or equivalent)
  • Minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or Aggregate 50% in percentage scale
 PCM or PCB
  • B.Sc. (Agriculture)
  • Must have taken PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in both XI and XII (or equivalent)
  • Minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or Aggregate 50% in percentage scale
 PCB

Note: Bioinformatics students have the option to earn a dual degree in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology by completing the necessary additional courses over an extra year. 

Provisional Admission Grade 12 Students

Students who have already completed grade 11 and 12 (or equivalent) and those awaiting for grade 12 results are eligible to apply.
