BSW Entrance Exam Notice 2083 - Tribhuvan University

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dean's Office, has officially announced the opening of admissions for its four-year Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program for the 2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

For students who passed Grade 12 in 2079 B.S.:

• Minimum D grade in each subject of Grades 11 and 12
• Minimum CGPA of 1.8 or higher
• Or second division in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline

For students who passed Grade 12 before 2079 B.S.:

• Minimum D+ grade in each subject of Grades 11 and 12
• Minimum CGPA of 2.0 or higher
• Or second division in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline

Entrance Examination Details

• Online Entrance Application Form: Ashadh 15 – Shrawan 20, 2083 (June 29 – August 5, 2026)
• Late Application (Double Fee): Shrawan 21 – 25, 2083 (August 6 – 10, 2026)
• Application Mode: Applicants can apply online through the official portal
• Entrance Examination Fee: Rs. 1,500 (payable via eSewa or Khalti; non-refundable)
• Written Entrance Examination Date: August 16, 2026 (Shrawan 31, 2083) at 8:00 AM
• Entrance Examination Center: To be published later by the university
