National Health Training Center under Ministry of Health, Government of Nepal announces admissions open for Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE), for 2081/82.

Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE) is an 18 month program of CTEVT. Students who enroll in this program can get an opportunity to become a vital member of the hospital healthcare team.

Modern hospitals rely on a wide range of medical equipment. Doctors and nurses must always have functioning diagnostic and treatment machinery ready. In this scenario, a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) performing preventive and repair work is essential to keeping the hospital running.

Enrollment is now open for the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (DBEE)

  • Affiliated by Council for Technical and Vocational Training (CTEVT)
  • Run by National Health Training Center (NHTC), Teku
  • Supported by Nick Simons Institute (NSI)
  • 18-month course with internship
  • Most of the BMET graduates are now employed in hospitals or biomedical suppliers around Nepal.

Important Dates

  1. Last date of Form Submission: 2081 Ashoj 6, Sunday, up to 5 PM. 
  2. Entrance Exam: 2081 Ashoj 12, Saturday, 8 AM.

Eligibility

Passed I.Sc/10+2 (Science) or have secured minimum CGPA 1.6 in each subject in Grade 11 and 12 or equivalence.
