Kathmandu University School of Arts has announced that admissions are currently open for the four year Bachelor of Arts in Music program.
The program emphasizes training competent musicians and ethnomusicologists to document, preserve and work creatively with the endangered musical traditions of Nepal.
The entire course is highly participatory and class discussion-oriented.

Eligibility
- A minimum of 1.61 GPA or 40% equivalent in grade 12 or equivalent qualification (applicants with transcripts issued by NEB before 2022 should have minimum of 2 GPA or 45%).
- GCE Advanced Level students should have passed minimum three subjects in A Level and one General Paper in AS Level. IB Level students should have passed all 6 courses with minimum 4 in each and have at least 28 marks in aggregate.
