Gandaki Boarding School (GBS) is situated in Lamachaur, Pokhara. When it first began, the facilities were quite basic, consisting of simple thatched-roofed buildings made of mud and bamboo. At that time, there were only 45 boarding students, and they were taught by a staff of 5 teachers. 1985 it was officially designated as a co-educational regional school in an agreement between the Nepal government and the United Mission to Nepal. Since then, GBS has been offering Plus Two programs in the Science.
In this video, Birendra Khadka, Principal of GBS, discusses the school's foundation and its approach to education. He also elaborates on the various amenities provided on the campus and the extracurricular activities, including the diverse range of student clubs offered by the school.
