Lumbini Eye Institute: Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh

Lumbini Netra Bigyan Adhyayan Sanshthan is located at Bhairahawa, Rupandehi. With affiliation from CTEVT it offers PCL in Ophthalmic Science.

Established in 1983, starting with only two rooms and four staffs, today Lumbini Eye Institute (LEI) has evolved from a small eye clinic to one of the leading and most successful eye care center among several eye hospitals run under Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh in Nepal. It is also considered as one of the finest example of self-sustainable eye care facility in entire South Asia.

LEI is also offering 3 year MD Residency Course on General Ophthalmology. This academic program is affiliated with National Academy of Medical Sciences.

The institute also offer 6 & 12 month fellowship training on General Ophthalmology.

In addition, LEI is also offering 3 year mid-level ophthalmic assistant training. It has already produced several batches of OA who are serving in different part of the country. At present 120 student are presuming their course.
