Suryodaya Municipality is one of the 10 municipalities in Ilam District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 54,727, comprising 27,382 males (50.0%) and 27,345 females (50.0%), with a literacy rate of 85.25%.
