Siddharthanagar Municipality is one of the 16 municipalities in Rupandehi District of Lumbini Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 74,436, comprising 37,249 males (50.0%) and 37,187 females (50.0%), with a literacy rate of 86.12%. Spanning 36.03 square kilometers, Siddharthanagar Municipality exhibits the population density of 2,066 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 13 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Siddharthanagar has 74 schools. Of these, 41 are private and 18 are public. The breakdown includes 51 pre-schools, 69 basic schools, and 34 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 11 offer +2 programs.
