Neelakantha Municipality is one of the 13 municipalities in Dhading District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 58,828, comprising 27,365 males (46.5%) and 31,463 females (53.5%), with a literacy rate of 75.83%. Spanning 197.7 square kilometers, Neelakantha Municipality exhibits the population density of 298 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 14 wards.
