Lalbandi Municipality is one of the 20 municipalities in Sarlahi District of Madhesh Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 66,419, comprising 32,883 males (49.5%) and 33,536 females (50.5%), with a literacy rate of 73.71%.
