As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 66,419, comprising 32,883 males (49.5%) and 33,536 females (50.5%), with a literacy rate of 73.71%. Spanning 238.5 square kilometers, Lalbandi Municipality exhibits the population density of 278 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 17 wards.
