Chandragiri Municipality is one of the 11 municipalities in Kathmandu District of Bagmati Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 136,860, comprising 68,303 males (49.9%) and 68,557 females (50.1%), with a literacy rate of 87.27%. Spanning 43.92 square kilometers, Chandragiri Municipality exhibits the population density of 3,116 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 15 wards.
