Shivasatakshi Municipality is one of the 15 municipalities in Jhapa District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 74,077, comprising 34,955 males (47.2%) and 39,122 females (52.8%), with a literacy rate of 82.27%. Spanning 145.87 square kilometers, Shivasatakshi Municipality exhibits the population density of 508 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.
