Shivasatakshi

Shivasatakshi Municipality is one of the 15 municipalities in Jhapa District of Koshi Province. As per the 2021 census, the municipality has a total population of 74,077, comprising 34,955 males (47.2%) and 39,122 females (52.8%), with a literacy rate of 82.27%. Spanning 145.87 square kilometers, Shivasatakshi Municipality exhibits the population density of 508 people per square kilometer. Administratively, it is divided into 11 wards.

According to the latest publicly available report of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD), Shivasatakshi has 58 schools. Of these, 24 are private and 33 are public. The breakdown includes 38 pre-schools, 57 basic schools, and 31 secondary schools. Among the secondary schools, 11 offer +2 programs.
