ABOUT
Bhimdutta Polytechnic Institute (BDPI) is Forty Eighth constituent institute of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). BDPI was established in 2018 A.D. (2075 B.S.) in Patan Municipality -6, Patan, Baitadi district. Formally BDPI was inaugurated on 27th Feb,2020 by Rt. Hon. president of Nepal, Mrs. Bidhyadevi Bhandari. It occupies an area of 55 Ropani of lands provided by Nepal Government.
Currently, BDPI has been operating two long-term diploma level curricular programs: Diploma in Agriculture in Plant Science and Diploma in Civil Engineering. Likewise, it is running different types of vocational training programs based on the need's assessment.
Mission
To produce highly skilled technical manpower, achieved by imparting high quality technical education and training by which individuals can achieve their intellectual, social and personal potentials. NBMPI is committed to developing human capital by sharpening creative thinking in technical knowledge, promotion of humanism and green TVET.

To become a leading polytechnic and remain as a top center of excellence to create sustainable futures for its students in technical education and vocational training (TVET) sector of Nepal.

Salient Features
- Classroom & laboratories are equipped with basic furniture with 8 individual buildings for individual lab established with all basic laboratories of agriculture and civil programs.
- Reading Area-Small separate library block is situated with in premise but basic furniture is yet to be installed in library.
- Canteen-One separate canteen building
- Staff Resisdence-Very good staff resident buildings for 8 officer, 8 other staff, principal, and for other staffs.
- Girl's Hostel-Establishment and running girls' hostel is one of immediate work for us.
Admission Guidelines
Diploma in Civil Engineering
The target group for this program will be all interested individuals who passed School Leaving Certificate (SLC) with English, Science, and Mathematics or equivalent and related Technical School Leaving Certificate (TSLC).
Diploma in Agriculture:
SLC passed with second division youths are the target groups for this course.
