Tribhuvan University commemorates its 65th annual day by inviting students to vie for esteemed awards. Eligible candidates are urged to submit their applications, research papers, and requisite documents within 15 days from the date of this notice.

Key Information:

  • Deadline for Submission: Applicants must furnish their materials within 15 days from the date of this announcement.
  • Required Documentation: Applicants should include two copies of their research paper, personal information, a passport-sized photograph, a photocopy of their citizenship, and academic qualifications (transcript and original certificate for postgraduate level).
  • Application Procedure: Submit your application to the Dean of Studies at your campus. The Dean's Office will forward recommended applications to the Coordination Division within 5 days.
  • Evaluation of Awards: Applications will be assessed based on the quality of the research paper. Late submissions will not be entertained.
  • Award Decisions: The final verdict rests with Tribhuvan University.

Available Awards:

Krishnachandra Regmi Award (Quota: 1)

  • Eligibility: Postgraduate students from the Faculties of Science and Technology, Humanities and Sociology, Management, Education, and Law. Applicants must have a dissertation on "Nepal Relations."
  • Prize: NPR 5,000 cash and a certificate.

Maheshchandra - Mandevi Regmi Award (Quota: 1)

  • Eligibility: Students in Humanities and Sociology with a Master's degree in Economics or History.
  • Prize: NPR 20,001 cash and a certificate.

Babukrishna Rijal Award (Quota: 1)

  • Eligibility: First-class graduates at the Master's level from the Faculty of Humanities and Sociology with outstanding research in "Nepali History, Culture, and Archaeology."
  • Prize: NPR 25,001 cash and a certificate.

BeluBishweshwar Chataut Memorial Award (Quota: 2)

  • Eligibility: Exceptional Master's level students from the Faculties of Linguistics and Journalism, admitted between 2075-2077 B.S., with top marks in their exams.
  • Prize: Cash award of up to NPR 25,000 and a certificate.
  • Note: Thesis submission is not required for this award.

Additional Requirements:

  • A certificate of admission from the respective campus is mandatory.
  • Ensure all documents are submitted with the application for a seamless process.
