Small Research Proposal - Tribhuvan University

As per the standard micro research project initiative of 2050, each micro research will receive Rs. 2,00,000/- (equivalent to two lakhs only) to cover research expenses. A total of 30 small research projects will be conducted, funded by Tribhuvan University. The deadline for proposal submission to this directorate is December 09, 2023 at 2 pm.

This opportunity is not available to those who have already undertaken small research projects from this directorate in the financial years 2078/79 and 2079/80. Moreover, individuals involved in research projects under the University Grants Commission, the Dean's Office, or other bodies within the University, or those on study leave, self-study leave, and Betanchi Bia, are ineligible. Invalid research proposals will not be considered. Proposals that do not comply with the attached guidelines and those received after the specified time will be disqualified.

  3. Letter from respective campus - 1 copy
  4. Photocopy of Certified Master's Degree Transcript - 1 copy

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicants for small research proposals from Tri. V. should be either contract, temporary, or permanent teachers or employees, and must have attained at least a second-class postgraduate level.
  2. Provisions for inclusion or reservation do not apply to the applicant if they are a permanent teacher/employee of TU.
  3. During the period from the publication of the notification for short research proposals until the final selection, the applicant should not have taken study leave, self-study leave, or any other form of leave of absence from Tri. V.
