Kathmandu University, School of Science announces one fellowship available for PhD sponsored jointly by Terre des homes Foundation, Lausanne, Switzerland and Kathmandu University. The subject of research will involve WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) AND Mother and Child Health in Salyan and Humla districts.
Eligibility for Admission:
- At least 17 (Five years after plus two or A level) years of post academic background.
- Master’s degree preferably in public health or Integrated Water Resources Management/ Engineering with a minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA in both Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
- Willingness to conduct field research in remote areas.
- Priority will be given to qualified female candidates and marginalized groups. The candidate is expected to contribute to development practices and work in the Mid West or Far West region in Nepal after the completion of Ph.D degree.
