IMS College hosted an inspiring startup session on Friday, Poush 26, bringing together budding entrepreneurs eager to learn and grow. The event featured Swikritee Neupane, a dynamic young entrepreneur, founder of Lumiere Nepal, and Managing Director of NexShift Technologies, as the keynote speaker.
Swikritee shared her entrepreneurial journey, explaining how she and her partner transformed their college-day ideas into a thriving business. Starting with a simple lamp design, Lumiere Nepal has now expanded its offerings to include decorative lights, bracelets, and corporate gifts.
Swikritee emphasized the role of TikTok in launching their brand and discussed the initial challenges they faced. She highlighted how differentiating their products and leveraging social media helped capture customer attention and improve service delivery, aided by collaboration with Nepal Can Move.
Quality and customer satisfaction remain at the core of Lumiere Nepal's operations. Swikritee illustrated this with a short video showcasing the company's growth from a modest startup to a successful business. She also engaged with the audience in a Q&A session, covering topics like product development, outsourcing, and building trustworthy partnerships.
Adding to the event's momentum, content creator Anuska Phuljel announced that IMS College will host a blood donation camp and an oral check-up session on Magh 3, organized by the Leo Club, encouraging student participation in these impactful initiatives.
