The South Asian Youth School Futsal Cup 2024, held on September 14th and 15th, brought together young futsal talents from across the region for an exhilarating tournament. Both of Nepal's teams, i.e., Nepal 1 & Nepal 2, were represented by Premier International IB Continuum School. Nepal 1 Boys showcased remarkable skill and teamwork in the boys' category, emerging as champions after a thrilling final. Their counterparts, Nepal 2 Boys, demonstrated impressive talent and secured second place, making the competition fierce. In the girls' tournament, Bangladesh triumphed in a closely fought 3-2 victory over Nepal, securing the title. The Nepal Girls team, represented by Premier International IB Continuum School, made a valiant effort and finished as the runners-up.
Both Nepal teams dominated the league stages, winning all their matches on the first day and securing direct qualifications for the finals. The victorious teams will now represent Nepal at the Global Round in Spain, showcasing their talents on an even larger international stage.
The tournament started with an opening ceremony on September 14th, marked by grandeur and anticipation. Chief Guest Krishna Gopal Shrestha, a Member of the House of Representatives of Nepal, graced the event, elevating the atmosphere.

The event was hosted by Premier International IB Continuum School and Nepal School Sports Federation (NSSF) in collaboration with the Bangladesh School Sports Association and Bangladesh Soccer-Futsal Association. The tournament kicked off with an opening ceremony on September 14th, graced by the presence of Chief Guest Krishna Gopal Shrestha, a Member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. Major sponsors Li Ning and Silk Transport provided crucial support to the competition.
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, during which the winners were honored by NSSF President Mr. Binod Shrestha, NSSF Founder President Mr. Pradeep Joshi, NSSF Secretary General, and ISF EC Member Mr. Raj Kumar Karki, ANFA Secretary General Mr. Kiran Rai, and Premier Sports Brand Ambassador Mr. Kiran Chemjong. Their presence added a sense of pride and prestige to the event, celebrating the achievements of the young athletes.
