On Jestha 8, 2082, a 30-minute video was broadcast on LED screens across major cities in Nepal. The video served as a promotional campaign for the BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity course.
What initially appeared to be a digital breach was, in fact, a strategically planned and impactful marketing campaign. This initiative exposed hidden risks that the general public may face in an increasingly interconnected world. It served as a serious wake-up call, clearly highlighting the need for robust cybersecurity measures.
As part of this ongoing initiative, Softwarica College reaffirmed its commitment to empowering students through its BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity degree program, affiliated with Coventry University. The program is designed to equip the next generation with the necessary knowledge, tools, and ethical foundation to address modern cybersecurity challenges.
The curriculum covers key areas such as penetration testing, network security, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
