Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce recently hosted a business pitching event, providing a platform for students and alumni to present their innovative business ideas. The event aimed to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with industry experts, offering them the opportunity to receive valuable insights, expand their networks, and explore potential investment opportunities.

Among the ideas pitched, one focused on creating a super app that integrates various services, such as messaging, payment solutions, small business digitalization, and ride-sharing, all within a single platform. This app is designed to simplify and enhance the everyday lives of users by offering a wide range of services in one place. The pitch was presented by Dhiren Hamal, with the support of Mohit Shrestha (Product Owner, Softwarica Batch 2012), Ananta Bijaya Dauliya (Co-founder & CTO), and a financial advisor.
Another notable pitch was Market Lab, an EdTech company focused on providing top-quality courses on trading, fund management, and investing, with a special emphasis on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). Pitched by Ashish Sapkota, a final-year student at Softwarica College, Market Lab aims to equip individuals with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of trading and investing in the Nepali market effectively.
This event provided students and alumni with a unique opportunity to engage with investors, refine their business models, and gain valuable feedback. It further demonstrated Softwarica College’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, encouraging young minds to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.
