Seven-Day Entrepreneurship Boot Camp Commences at Lumbini Banijya Campus

A seven-day Entrepreneurship Boot Camp has commenced at Lumbini Banijya Campus, aiming to foster entrepreneurial skills among youth. The program, organized by National Youth Council under Ministry of Youth and Sport has brought together 20 selected participants from various districts. These individuals were chosen through a multi-phase selection process based on their innovative business ideas. 

The boot camp provides a platform for participants to refine their ideas and receive training to transform them into viable business ventures. The  camp is led by the National Youth Council's Deputy Secretary Tarapati Kharel, Lumbini Banijya Campus's  Campus Chief Prof. Dr. Tara Prasad Upadhyaya, and Shiva Raj Adhikari.

Speaking at the inauguration event, Prof. Dr. Upadhyaya emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship for national development and expressed gratitude to the National Youth Council for organizing the boot camp at Lumbini Commercial Campus, which has been actively promoting entrepreneurship initiatives.

Similary, Deputy Secretary Kharel during the inauguration event highlighted the council's efforts to reduce youth migration by creating domestic job opportunities through entrepreneurship. He mentioned various programs, including entrepreneurship education, science and technology promotion, skill development, and youth capacity-building initiatives.

On the first day of the camp, trainers Mukunda Gyawali and Purna Ram Ghimire trained the participants on business modeling, development processes, and incubation strategies to equip participants with the necessary skills to succeed in the entrepreneurial landscape.
