National College has organized an engaging guest lecture talk on ‘Landscape of Mass Media and Development Communication in Nepal’ on June 7. The talk session offered a valuable opportunity for academic enrichment and meaningful engagement with real-world issues to the students of the Bachelor in Development Finance(BDF).
The session was led by Ms. Namrata Sharma, an experienced journalist, development-communication specialist, and social advocate. Addressing students of the BDF program, Ms. Sharma emphasized the influential role media plays in driving social change and crafting development narratives in Nepal.
With her expertise, Ms. Sharma highlighted how strategic communication can impact policy-making, empower marginalized communities, and contribute to sustainable development.
