Milton International College, part of the Liverpool Educational Network, celebrated World Social Work Day. The students of the BASW faculty of the college organized panel discussions, discussions about their social work and various entertainment programs. Participants in the program expressed their commitment to move forward in their social work. Each year, World Social Work Day is celebrated around the world on the third Tuesday in March, and events are held throughout the month of March. This day is celebrated as an opportunity for social workers and others in the social service sector to celebrate their achievements and raise awareness and support for the important role social workers play in the lives of vulnerable children, families and communities.
