KIST College recently organized a 40-hour Figma UI/UX Design Course exclusively for BIT 5th Semester students. This specialized training aimed to introduce students to modern design tools and techniques through a hands-on, project-based approach.
The course was conducted under KIST’s Extra Edge initiative, an innovative program focused on equipping students with practical, in-demand skills that complement their academic learning and prepare them for real-world challenges beyond the classroom.

The course offered students a deep dive into Figma, one of the most widely used UI/UX design tools in the professional design industry. Emphasizing hands-on learning, the training included a series of real-world design challenges, practical assignments, and project-based exercises.

Key components of the program:
- Introduction to Figma and its professional use in UI/UX design
- Practical assignments focused on real-world design problems
- Training in wireframing, interactive prototyping, and interface design
- Exposure to modern design workflows and collaborative tools
- Development of both creative thinking and technical skills

This initiative highlights KIST College’s commitment to future-focused education by embedding practical skill-building into the academic experience. By connecting theory with real-world application, KIST continues to empower students with skills that matter in today’s digital world, helping them learn, create, and lead with confidence.
