The launch of the first volume of the LEC Journal 2024 – International Journal on Engineering Technology and Infrastructure Development (InJET - InDev) by Lalitpur Engineering College (LEC) is a commendable initiative. Held on August 30, 2024, this event marked a significant milestone in promoting academic research and innovation in the field of engineering technology and infrastructure development. The journal is designed to create a platform for students, researchers, and professionals to publish and disseminate innovative research, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
The involvement of collaborative partners such as Safe & Sustainable Travel Nepal (SSTN) and the Society of Transport Engineers Nepal (SOTEN) played a pivotal role in the success of the journal's launch. The support from LEC’s student bodies, including the Civil Engineering Student Society (CESS-LEC), the Student Welfare Council (SWC-LEC), and the Society of Computer Enthusiasts (SoCE-LEC), further strengthened the event.
The presence of distinguished guests such as Prof. Dr. Binod Bhattarai, Acting Dean of the Institute of Engineering, who served as the Chief Guest, and special guests Prof. Dr. Padma Bahadur Shahi, Chairman of the Nepal Engineering Council (NEC), and Prof. Hirendra Man Pradhan, President of AECoN, added prestige to the occasion. The event successfully brought together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to promote mutual cooperation and collaboration in engineering technology and infrastructure development.
