Hult Prize at IOE Pulchowk Hosts Visionary Leaders Panel on Sustainability

The Hult Prize at IOE Pulchowk Campus organized a panel discussion titled “Innovators for Sustainability: Achieving SDGs Together!” in the Library Hall. Esteemed panelists included Mr. Akendra Joshi (Dolma Impact Fund), Dr. Sareesha Shrestha (Miss Nepal Earth 2022 and Sahayatri NGO founder), Mr. Simone Galimberti (ENGAGE & Sharing4Good), and Mr. Biplab Karki (CEO of Hyperce). Moderated by Miss Riyaj Nepal and Miss Saisha Shrestha, the discussion explored innovation and collaboration to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr. Sareesha Shrestha highlighted her journey of balancing roles while addressing healthcare and environmental gaps through her NGO. Mr. Akendra Joshi shared insights on how strategic investments can merge sustainability with profitability for Nepali startups. Mr. Simone Galimberti stressed empowering youth and fostering partnerships between universities and communities, while Mr. Biplab Karki inspired aspiring entrepreneurs by emphasizing passion as a key driver for tackling real-world problems.

The interactive session included a rapid-fire Q&A and practical advice on creating impact and pursuing sustainable development. A light-hearted moment had panelists pitching a pen creatively, keeping the audience engaged. Attendees actively participated, asking questions and gaining actionable insights.
