Banepa, Dec 14 (RSS): Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Banskota, said time has come to end discrimination on education facility provided to son and daughters. The parents should be aware of children's equal right on education, Minister Banskota said at the fifth district children's assembly organized by District Children Club Network, Kavrepalanchowk.
"Education paves way for further life, so proper education to children is must," he said, adding that even the outer knowledge should gradually be inculcated so that children can handle themselves properly.
The Minister censured that NGOs are not for running society but just for facilitation. Children must not develop entirely on it, he stressed.
Moreover, the Minister reminded that constitution has fully guaranteed human rights where right to child and women are incorporated. "I strongly urge everyone not to criticize government only, but to implement constitution well," he stressed. He further complained that the recent deviation in the society is worrying of late.
On the occasion, State 3 Assembly member Chandra Lama said is time to move ahead with the internalization of sensitivity of geopolitics. Various persons contributing to child rights were honoured at the programme.
