The British College (TBC) proudly announced the successful conclusion of its annual student exchange programme in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University (LBU), UK. From March 25th to 29th, the campus witnessed vibrant cross-cultural collaboration as eight students from LBU joined hands with counterparts from TBC, Nepal.
The exchange programme, a testament to TBC's commitment to fostering global educational excellence, provided a platform for sixteen students to engage in innovative projects focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT). Led by Dr. Pooneh Bagheri Zadeh and Dr. Rohit Raj Pandey, this year's program showcased heightened levels of engagement and impact.
Patrick McCrudden, Deputy Principal at The British College, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to once again welcome students from Leeds Beckett University for this enriching exchange programme. This initiative provides invaluable learning opportunities for the students involved, strengthens the bonds between our institutions, and promotes global collaboration in education."
Key highlights of the programme included special sessions where LBU representatives shared insights with TBC students, facilitating enriching discussions on computing studies. Faculty members from both institutions exchanged research ideas, paving the way for potential collaborative projects in the future. Meetings with computing course module leaders also fostered discussions on teaching methodologies and resource sharing.
The programme's pinnacle was the presentation of innovative IoT projects developed by student teams, showcasing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
