The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order not to implement the National School Curriculum Draft, 2076. The order was issued by the Supreme Court Judge Purushottam Bhandari.

With the order, the new curriculum for class 11 will not be implemented for the time being.

Following the debate on the writ petition filed by Bhagwata Aryal, the Supreme Court has asked the Opposition Curriculum development Center, Sanothimi, to submit a written reply with appropriate reasons within the next 15 days.

Senior advocates Lilamani Poudel and Madhav Kumar Basnet and advocate Ashish Adhikari argued on behalf of the petitioner.
