Students Vandalises Padma Kanya Multiple Campus, Exam Postponed

Tension erupted at Bagbazaar-based Padma Kanya Multiple Campus in Kathmandu on Friday after the students resorted to vandalism following delay in the commencement of MA second year examination on time.

The irate students began chanting slogans and took to vandalism as the college administration failed to start the MA second year examination even after the elapse of one-hour from the slated time i.e. 11am. The examination of MA Second year is held from 11 am to 2 pm. 

The examination of MA second year English scheduled for today has been postponed, after the agitating students clashed with police.

“No seat planning was fixed till 11 am and students were not allowed to enter the classrooms,” said an examinee. “Tension broke out after the administration tried to conduct the exam after a delay of an hour.”


Ten colleges including Kathmandu Model College,Balkumari, Universal College, Maitidevei, St.Xaviers College Maitighar  had their exam center at the Padma Kanya Multiple Campus.
