SEE Supplementary Exam Results to Be Released by Third Week of Ashoj

The National Examinations Board (NEB) has announced that the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Supplementary (Grade Improvement) will be published by the third week of Ashoj (late September). The board aims to ensure that the results are released in a timely manner so as not to interfere with the registration process for Grade 11.

The NEB has confirmed that preparations are underway to release the results before the registration window for Grade 11 opens. According to the Board’s annual calendar, the registration period for Grade 11 students is scheduled to begin on Ashoj 15 and continue until Kartik 30 (October 1 to November 15), including the time allowed with a late fee.

Currently, the Board is engaged in the grading process, which is being conducted at 34 centers across various locations in the country. Despite challenges posed by adverse weather conditions, the NEB reports that grading has been completed at some centers, with marks already being received. However, some grading centers have experienced delays due to weather-related disruptions, particularly in transporting answer sheets from remote and inaccessible areas.

The SEE 2080 Grade Improvement Exam saw participation from all students who failed to obtain passing grades or were absent during the regular examinations. Out of 234,000 students who either received an NG (Non-Graded) or were absent, about 23,000 did not participate in the exam.

The Board's 2068 Grading Guidelines initially allowed only those students who received an NG in two subjects to take the Grade Improvement Exam. However, the guidelines were later revised to extend the opportunity to all non-graded and absent students, allowing them to participate in the supplementary examination.

With the grading process nearing completion, the NEB is working diligently to ensure the timely publication of the results, allowing students to proceed with their further studies without delay.
