SEE Process - Chairman Sharma Introduces Letter Grading Guidelines

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) of the year 2080 is set to commence from Chaitra 15, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of countless students across the nation. As per the curriculum outlined for the year 2078, this year's SEE examination is being conducted for the first time, ushering in a new era of educational evaluation.

Despite initial apprehensions regarding the complexity of the examination, educational authorities have reassured students and stakeholders alike. Emphasizing the importance of participation, the board assures that the examination process will adhere to regular, simple, and straightforward procedures. Nanda Lal Poudel, the examination controller, underscored the significance of gradual complexity in examination questions, aiming to ease the overall examination experience. "Students equipped with knowledge, understanding, and cognitive skills can tackle questions with ease," remarked Poudel, highlighting the importance of clarity and comprehension during the examination.

Dr. Mahashram Sharma, chairman of the board, echoed this sentiment, expressing confidence in the seamless conduct of the examination. Recognizing the collective effort required, Dr. Sharma stressed the necessity of a coordinated approach to ensure a clean, organized, and fear-free examination environment. He extended heartfelt gratitude for the collaborative efforts and called for continued support and coordination until the successful completion of the examination.

Addressing concerns about evaluation criteria, Controller Poudel clarified that apprehensions about lower grades for obtaining less than 35% marks in subjective examinations are unwarranted. The examination system ensures clarity, with provisions for resolving any identified issues in questions, ensuring fairness and transparency throughout the evaluation process.

Internal evaluation guidelines delineate a structured approach, with students evaluated based on participation scores, practical and project work, and examination marks. The examinations, accounting for 75% of the total marks, are instrumental in determining student performance.

With meticulous preparations underway, including the deployment of personnel and security measures, the National Examination Board assures stakeholders of comprehensive readiness. As the countdown to the SEE examination begins, all eyes are on Chaitra 15, when students from across the nation will embark on this academic milestone, underlining the importance of education in shaping the future generation.
